The foundation makes grants to exempt nonprofit and public organizations based in Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, San Francisco, and San Mateo counties in California, and in the state of Oregon
Application Information
Current grantees, By invitation only
We prioritize long-term funding relationships with existing grantees, and are only accepting applications for organizations funded in the previous fiscal year. Organizations are considered by invitation only.
Submission deadlines
The foundation has two submission windows each year: one for grants considered at the June board meeting and one for grants considered at the December board meeting.
OREGON ORGANIZAtions
Do not send letters of inquiry or any other materials to the foundation. Board trustees will personally invite eligible organizations from Oregon to apply.
SF bay area Organizations
Grants are considered by invitation-only. Once an organization has been invited to apply, specific deadline information will be provided by foundation staff.
